Forever 21.

 In store visual merchandising...

The Forver 21 innovative TV screen in the busy Times Square...

When visiting NYC I discovered the brand Forever 21, and since then the store has expanded to the UK in 2010. Forever 21 is a reasonably priced, trend-savvy brand that has many styles, creative clothing and accessories for everyone! The brand is split into a variety of stores that provide different styles and trends for different ages and sizes. For example, Heritage 1981 is an offshoot format store that carries their vintage inspired clothing, Love21 is the accessory store and Forever 21+ is clothing for women in extended sizes. I visited the Broadway store in New York, however more recently there has been a new and exciting Forever 21 store placed on the busy Times Square. The shop has incorporated innovative technology whilst situated in the bright lights of Times Square with an exciting TV screen capturing the public on the street, a mirror image of the street outside. The TV screen moves with the people and an ‘imaginary’ person pops out of the screen to ‘pretend’ to adopt one of the public.
I think the brand is exciting and fresh, it is similar to H&M with its low priced, fashionable, quality clothing. The brands main competitors in the UK is H&M, New Look, Dorothy Perkins, Topshop etc but in the US its competitors vary from Gap inc, Old Navy, Banana Republic, Express and many more.
